A board meeting was held on Saturday,June 1, 2025. Meetings are held in the Dining Hall at the
Camp. Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. All are welcome to
attend.

Camp News
The renovation of Cabin 11 is complete. There are some cosmetic pieces to finalize but it is fully
functional. The water heater issue has been fixed. The damage from the water leak has been
repaired as well.
The walk-in cooler had to have a new compressor and some valves had to be replaced. There is
an additional part that is needed and we are waiting for confirmation of the installation.
Our tractor and zero turn mower have both been repaired and are back to work.
2 bounce houses and a wading pool have been purchased for the younger kids to enjoy during
Camp.
There are several things our insurance company is requiring us to correct. The projected cost to
complete everything is $10k-$15k. The major requirements are to fix the shower house roof and
the Youth Chapel chimney.
A 10 burner stove with double ovens was purchased. This replaces one of the old 6 burner/stove
and small griddle units currently in use. While this is a used item, it looks brand new and just
needs some cleaning.
Camp Losses
The Camp has lost 2 family members recently. Please keep their family in your prayers.
Drew Kirkham passed away unexpectedly in April.
Eldon Vaughn passed away on June 16th. His visitation is Wednesday, June 25th from 4-7 p.m.
at Triplett & Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. His Celebration of Life is Thursday, June 26th at
10:30 a.m. at Hope Church in Rushville. His obituary can be viewed here:
Giving
We rely heavily on our Camp Family for support, as the rentals are a blessing, and not a
given. The projects we would like to take on are, at best, nearly impossible, on our current
income. If you do not currently support the Camp financially, we ask that you please consider
doing so.
We have 2 options for online giving. We use tithe.ly, which is an app available for both
Android and iOS users, and PayPal. You can find us on tithe.ly as New Life Christian Camp
and on PayPal by using the email address newlifechristiancamp@outlook.com.
If you prefer to mail a check, they can be made out to NLCCA, and sent to 11257 Old Macomb
Road, Rushville, IL 62681.
Camp Fusion
Registration is open! Registration is now open online, and the form is found here:
https://forms.gle/jHMGwkYHAHmLot4a9. As the space to stay on the grounds is limited, please
register as soon as possible. This helps us ensure that everyone that needs a bed has one.
As of our meeting, there were 100 people registered, with 4 sponsorships needed.
If you are looking for a way to be involved during Camp, we need volunteers! Current needs are
VBS, keeping the restrooms cleaned and stocked, keeping the shower house cleaned, and
keeping the Tabernacle cleaned.
Camp rates have been set for the week. Please do not let the cost be a deterrent as we are able to
work with you. If the cost presents a challenge, please reach out to a Board Member (contact info
at the end). The weekly rate below includes your room and all meals.
Adults 20+ = $200
Teens 12-19 = $175
Children 3-11 = $125
Children 3-11 = $85 (2nd)
Children 3-11 = $75 (3rd)
Children 3-11 = $60 (4th+)
Children under 3 are free
Daily rates that include room and meals:
Adults 12+ = $30
Children 3-11 = $25
Individual meals are $6 each, or a daily pass (covers all 3) is $15.
Please note that we will NOT have a nursery this year, as the Cabin was needed for sleeping
space.

Occupancy
We currently have 4 RV spaces, 5 motel rooms, and 1 apartment rented. There has been an
increase in calls from people looking for month to month places to stay. Due to Camp coming
up, we have not been able to accommodate the requests.
Camp Merchandise
We will have tumbler cups available for purchase during Camp. They are $15 each. Please note
these tumblers are not dishwasher safe.
There was previously a pre-order for Camp hats that has closed. There will be a limited number
of hats available for purchase during Camp. They are $18 each.
