A Board meeting was held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 . Meetings are held in the Dining Hall at the Camp. Our next meeting is Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 9 a.m. All are welcome to attend. The aim is to have the meeting adjourned by 10 a.m. to accommodate a work day.
Camp Work Days
Friday, May 3rd, and Saturday, May 4th are work days. We hope to see you there! We have a lot to accomplish prior to Camp Fusion, which is coming up quickly. No particular skill set is necessary, just a willingness to come lend a hand.
110 Challenge UPDATE
We have received 11 donations toward the Challenge at this point, with one verbal commitment having been made as well. We ask that you consider taking on this Challenge to help support the Camp!
110 Challenge Details
Having been established in 1914, 2024 is the 110th anniversary of the camp! In honor of this anniversary, the Board is issuing a 110 Challenge. We are inviting 110 people who love Camp Fusion and are passionate about its continued growth to pledge the amount of $110 to be paid between now and July 10th. The money raised through this 110 Challenge will be used to improve and expand our facilities so we can put our mission statement into action and reach more people with the message of Jesus Christ. If you would like to be a part of the 110 Challenge, please notify Cindy Outlaw of your intention by text message to 309-533-8193 or email to l.outlaw@comcast.net. If you're already giving to Camp Fusion, thank you, and we ask that this Challenge be given above and beyond that offering.

Camp News
Our deed has been filed with Schuyler County, and we are waiting for it to be updated. Once they have their records updated, we will be able to file the property tax exemption with the County Assessor’s office.
The new bed frames, foundations, mattresses, and linens have arrived! We look forward to getting the rooms completed.
We are once again without a leaf vac. The engine blew up, with less than 14 hours’ usage. We have been told that it is out of warranty, so the repair/replacement is not covered.
We are in need of someone to head up the VBS program during Camp. If you are interested in taking on this need, please contact a Board member. If you are willing to help with VBS, please contact a Board member.
Camp Projects - in progress

Camp Projects - to be done
The interior wood around the Tabernacle doors need painted, and the exterior will need a second coat.
There are several yard lights around the grounds that need to be repaired or replaced.
Cabin 12, Cabin 20, and Cabin 22 need new exterior doors. Cabin 12 needs a window too.
New windows need to be installed in the Caretaker’s house.
Old bed frames, foundations, and mattresses removed from motel rooms and Cabin 11.
New bed frames, foundations, and mattresses need to be set up in motel rooms and cabins.
Threshold installed on Youth Chapel side door.
General clean out of cabins currently being used for storage.
Evaluation of all cabins, and rehab as needed.
Occupancy
We currently have 2 RV spaces rented, with one being on a long term basis. The West Apartment is rented through May. One cabin is currently rented. The work crew that had been with us for quite some time completed their project and have moved on. We have a few nightly rentals scheduled, but reservations are slowing down.
Giving
We rely heavily on our Camp Family for support, as the rentals are a blessing, and not a given. The projects we would like to complete are costly, and our current income will not support them. If you do not currently support the Camp financially, we ask that you please consider doing so.
We have 2 options for online giving. We use tithe.ly, which is an app available for both Android and iOS users. We are listed under Rushville Family Camp Assoc, however, our New Life Christian Camp logo is shown. We also use PayPal using the email address newlifechristiancamp@outlook.com.
If you prefer to mail a check, they can be made out to NLCCA, and sent to 11257 Old Macomb Road, Rushville, IL 62681.
